Summary: Gotta Have It.....
Comment: Here's the deal people... A friend who worked at a day care center referred this "system" to me.

Basically this stuff is voodoo, it works so well, that you can't not have it. The DVD is pretty short, but it's worth every penny...

My child is actually very calm and collected, but for those times when nothing seems to work, it calms him down instantaneously... So if you have a child that won't ever calm, this may save your life...

Summary: Love it - better than reading the book
Comment: I had originally gotten the book and was not as interested, but seeing the DVD made it ALL CLEAR and very engaging! We were amazed at how the 5 S's is so effective! Love the way the Dr. works with other couples to achieve the happiest baby on the block. Definitely one of our new baby-calming methods now.

Summary: This is a life saver!
Comment: I had checked this video out at the library right before my daughter became colicky. When that happened, I watched it thinking "What the heck!" It has these steps you do that are supposed to calm any baby, basically re-inventing the womb. It works like a charm! My daughter was colicky for over a month, and before this, she would cry nonstop for hours, driving my husband and I insane. Once I started using this technique, she would stop within a couple of minutes and would fall asleep. She always was colicky at night, so once she feel asleep, I would wait about 20 minutes to allow her to get into a deep sleep before I would unswaddle her and lay her down. But it worked wonderfully and saved our sanity. Then last year, my friend had a son, and she had said her daughter was very colicky for over six months. I bought this for her as a gift and she said it worked well for them to. I recommend this to every new parent. Get it BEFORE you get to that colicky stage, so that you are ready!
