Customer Rating: Summary: A Knightly & Eggy Tale Comment: In comparison to some of the other Backyardigans specials this one isn't the best of story lines. It has it's moments of cuteness, with the characters coming up with various names for a getaway unhatched dragon.
King Pablo asked his knights to watch him, while away, on an important mission.
In the character's plight the dragon lead them on an adventurous trail. The knights are met by a silly Goblin,Austin. Goblin has a tendency to take other's items, that do not belong to him. Tasha, a fairy adds more giggles. She too thinks of a name, for the dragon within his cracking egg.
Goblin and the fairy accompany the knights to the castle. After arriving, the dragon hatches.
When the knights, goblin, and fairy ask what the dragon's name should be, King Pablo replies,"Dragon," a gasp they give, as the knights, fairy, and goblin have only been thinking of egg related names!
Customer Rating: Summary: A wonderful adventure!!! Comment: This DVD is amazing. It has three episodes. The first one is almost a movie with a duration of about 45 minutes with a very interesting adventure about a simple egg from which a lot of funny things happen. The second one brings up an entertaining situation where Uniqua is the sheriff and Pablo is the bad guy (which causes by itself a lot of laugh:-). Finally you have an episode which is a sort of Star Trek but in the Backyardigans style. It is pleasant to see that after some time, the Backyardigans series are the same: funny situations, adventure and good songs in just one episode.
Customer Rating: Summary: MIghty Knights are great! Comment: I purchased this dvd for my toddler. He loves the Mighty Knights and the music is great. If your child like Backyardigans this is one of the better episodes.
Customer Rating: Summary: Adorable!! Comment: My 4-yr old son loved this when it first came on Nick. We didn't see it aired since, and he kept asking about it so I bought him the book, "The Egg Sitters" and now we have this movie as well. He is really into dragons, swords and shields. He literally wants to watch this movie every afternoon he gets home from preschool. My 2-yr old daughter enjoys it as well. I go through the house singing, "I'm not an egg anymore!" and "We're Knights That's Right!" as well as "Oh the things, that Goblin Has Grabbed . . ." I'm dying to figure out what songs these are based on. They're extremely familiar to me and being a Gen-Xer, maybe it is the 80's. . . . I agree with others on the "Queen" reference. The music is great and my husband loves the quacking egg (as do I and our children). Adorable.
Customer Rating: Summary: Backyardigans Mini Fans Comment: I purchased this product for my 2 and a half year old twin granddaughters who are BIG Backyardigans fans. While they have watched other animated programs these characters capture their attention, and even motivate them to react to the story line. They also dance and "sing" to the catchy tunes in their programs. The Tale of the Mighty Knights is quite a bit longer than the televised episodes, but nonetheless it kept their attention.
